Serve at Hilltop
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
Serving at Hilltop!
Whether behind the scenes in the tech room, in the classroom with Kids Connection, or being a smiling face at the front door, there are plenty of ways to get involved. We have service opportunities every day of the week for just about everyone!
Do you love working with kids, playing and being creative? Do you love sharing stories from the bible? If so, Kids Connection is a great ministry for you! Our teachers and leaders work with kids from age three to 5th grade at 10:30 am, following the Sunday worship service.
Do you enjoy making others feel welcome? Are you excited to greet others when they arrive at Hilltop? If so, we'd love to have you on our hospitality team!
TELL ME MORE!
A few times each year we plan for special events in which we can invite our neighborhood community to share in fun and fellowship. If you like party planning, serving with others and a short term commitment, this may be a great way to get involved.
SOUNDS LIKE FUN!
Our tech team manages the audio visual for each worship service and produces videos for YouTube, among other tasks. We would love to have a photographer to take photos of our ministry in action throughout the year. Whether you have tech experience or just an eye for design we have opportunities for you!
The UPWARD Team strives to make all worship services inviting, fresh and transformative. We always welcome new voices and musicians in the choir and worship band, or you can work behind the scenes incorporating design elements into the worship service.
"RISE" YOUTH GROUP
Hilltop’s RISE youth ministry program seeks to appropriately engage, instruct, equip, and challenge students grades 6-12 to live their faith authentically. The group meets Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm, with other special events planned throughout the year. If you're interested in working with our youth group, opportunities include mentoring, providing Wednesday night meals, and serving on the Youth Ministry Action Team (our planning and oversight committee).
During our 9:15 am worship service we offer a fully staffed nursery for infants to toddlers. All child care workers are screened and have participated in safe sanctuary training. If you feel called to serve our families in this important ministry, click below for more information.
Our congregational care team makes it a priority to visit those who are home bound, providing prayer and serving communion. If you have a heart for the elderly or those struggling with ongoing medical conditions consider serving in this ministry of care!
As a church, we realize that students need older generations to model faith and pray for them. Kids are facing some difficult challenges this year and we want to support them through prayer. You will be partnered with a young member of the church and expected to pray for them weekly for the whole school year. No expectation or plan to meet face-to-face. This partnership is intended to last for one school year, but partners may choose to continue longer.
