Connect Groups
We encourage everyone at Hilltop to be a part of a Connect Group. Why? Because we believe that life is not meant to do alone. God designed us to be in community with others. Connect Groups are a great way to meet people, make friends, learn more about God and find real answers for life’s questions. Whether you are still exploring this whole "Christianity thing" or are a long-time follower of Jesus, these ever-changing, relevant, short-term groups are a great way to connect with who we are at Hilltop.
Fall Connect Groups
This Fall, the sermon series will be based on a book by Laceye C. Warner, Knowing Who We Are, and all Connect Groups will focus on this book, as well. Together, explore your identity, articulate your beliefs, and enhance your connection with The United Methodist Church. Grow in your understanding of God’s grace for all and sanctification as tangible transformation in your life, your community, and all creation. Pick a group that works for your schedule and join in on the community read. Connect Groups will start the week of September 28 and will meet for six weeks. Heavenly Stitches
Terry Berg and Dianne Daby are hosting a weekly stitching group, Thursdays at 4:00-5:00 pm, beginning March 7. Come and learn to crochet or knit. You can bring your own crafts and projects or just show up and learn from experienced yarn lovers. No need to sign up or attend every week, but once you get started, you may not want to miss a single session.
Tuesday Women's Group
A place where we can share what's on our hearts and minds, make friends, and learn from one another to grow into the Christ-like women God intended for us to be. Study material may include classic Christian literature, current contemporary authors and/or your favorite Study bible. Women’s Group provides an opportunity for you to grow in deeper knowledge and understanding of God's Word no matter where you are in your spiritual journey. Expect prayer, coffee, and laughter! Tuesdays at 1:30-3:00 pm.
