Connect Groups
We encourage everyone at Hilltop to be a part of a Connect Group. Why? Because we believe that life is not meant to do alone. God designed us to be in community with others. Connect Groups are a great way to meet people, make friends, learn more about God and find real answers for life’s questions. Whether you are still exploring this whole "Christianity thing" or are a long-time follower of Jesus, these ever-changing, relevant, short-term groups are a great way to connect with who we are at Hilltop.
Covenant Discipleship Group
Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 pm

Have you ever felt like your faith has hit a plateau, like you want to follow Jesus more closely but aren’t sure where to begin? You don’t have to figure it out alone. Starting October 21, HILLTOP is launching the Wednesday Night Covenant Discipleship Group, meeting Wednesdays at 6:00 pm (after the Community Meal). Rooted in the same practices that set the early Methodist movement on fire, this group will help us live out the General Rule of Discipleship: (1) Do no harm; (2) Do good; & (3) Stay in love with God. In a circle of new and trusted friends, we’ll encourage one another, hold each other accountable in love, and celebrate the ways God is shaping our lives week by week. Whether you’re a lifelong Methodist or just beginning to explore what it means to follow Jesus, there’s a seat for you. Come and see what God can do when we walk this road together! Register
Tuesday Women's Group
Tuesdays 1:30-3:00 pm
A place where we can share what's on our hearts and minds, make friends, and learn from one another to grow into the Christ-like women God intended for us to be. Study material may include classic Christian literature, current contemporary authors and/or your favorite Study bible. Women’s Group provides an opportunity for you to grow in deeper knowledge and understanding of God's Word no matter where you are in your spiritual journey. Expect prayer, coffee, and laughter! Hilltop Book Lovers
Mondays at 6:00 pm

Love a good book and even better conversation? In 2027, Connie Scott will lead an in-person book group at Hilltop United Methodist Church, meeting five times throughout the year on the third Monday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The selections come from the United Women in Faith Reading Program and span memoir, history, fiction, and Scripture. Each one invites us to listen to voices we don’t often hear and to ask what faithfulness looks like in hard places. The group is open to everyone, men and women alike. Read the book ahead of time, then come ready to talk. All are welcome!
Heavenly Stitches
Thursdays at 4:00 pm
Terry Berg and Dianne Daby host a weekly stitching group on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 pm. Come and learn to crochet or knit. Bring your own crafts and projects or just show up and learn from experienced yarn lovers. No need to sign up or attend every week, but once you get started, you may not want to miss a single session. The group meets in the Fireside Room.
