January 13, 2021- Bishop David Bard has turned the dial on the Minnesota Conference's Phased Re-Gathering Plan for Churches from Red to Orange, which means that Hilltop will resume small in-person groups at the discretion of small group leaders. At the November Church Council meeting, Hilltop’s leadership made the decision to remain closed for in-person worship through Mother’s Day (May 9, 2021). Worship will remain online only until that date. Should the situation change dramatically in the next several months, we could change course. For now, we will plan to re-open (weather permitting) with a new outdoor service by Mother’s Day so that we can safely gather and sing outside for worship.
We worship each Sunday at 10:30 am. Join the live stream HERE. If you are new, we would love to connect with you! We will make a donation to a local mission partner in our community when you fill out a Connect Card. Pledges and offerings can be mailed to the church or you can Give Online.
Connect with other members following Sunday worship via video conferencing. Click HERE to join.
These relevant, short-term groups are a great way to meet people, make friends, learn more about God and find real answers for life’s questions. Groups starting in February! Learn more HERE.
This is not a class or a study. It is everyone in the church placed into a circle with a coordinator who will be connecting with everyone in their circle. This new ministry is launching February 2021.
As a church, we realize that students need older generations to model faith and pray for them. The Prayer Partners initiative will match students with same-gender prayer partners from our congregation. Students can count on their prayer partner to periodically ask for prayer requests and to pray for the student weekly. There is no expectation or plan to meet face-to-face. This partnership is intended to last for one school year, but partners may choose to continue longer.
Wednesday Youth Group
Confirmation students and the RISE youth group meet via video conferencing the first and third Wednesday of each month from 7:30-8:30 pm. If you have questions, please contact Jocelin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
